Comparing Characters

The two characters that I compared were Miley Cyrus from 'The Hannah Montana Movie' and Ellie from 'Tomorrow When The War Began'. These two characters show trates of them being similar and them be very different. Some things that we found similar about the two characters were that the both are the same age in the movie, them being 17, we also realized that they are both your typical farm girl but the difference is that Miley is a typical far girl but when she turns into Hannah Montana she changes into a famous singer who everyone adores and admires. Both characters have, in their own sense, a deal of power over others. Miley/Hannah Montana has power because she is a famous singer and is a role model to many young girls while Ellie has power because she is put as leader and in charge of her group to help them through their tuff times at war. Ellie too, is a role model to the others in her group because as leader, they know she can rise to the standards and portray in what she has to do to help them. I, myself, think that the both characters were shown as good role models because they both do what seems right at the time, weather it be Miley showing the world she's Hannah Montana or it be Ellie decided if they stay and hide or go out and fight, they both show courage and determination to try to make a difference to the society.
